The Madhouse approach

A gym built around the work.

Madhouse gives lifters room to focus and newcomers room to learn. The atmosphere is committed, local and welcoming—because a serious gym does not need to feel exclusive.

Get to know Madhouse

Choose your location

Two gyms,
one community.

Rotherham brings a darker strength-floor intensity. Carlton pairs focused training with a distinct local community feel.

Training at Madhouse

Strength in more than one form.

Build a foundation, prepare the competition lifts, develop barbell skill or train for your physique. The common thread is purposeful progression.

01

Strength development

Build confidence with the fundamentals: repeatable technique, progressive loading and consistent training.

02

Powerlifting

Train the squat, bench press and deadlift in an environment where focused barbell work belongs.

03

Weightlifting

Develop barbell skill, speed and control. Ask the team about the right space and support for your session.

04

Bodybuilding

Train for muscle and physique development with purposeful volume, control and progression over time.

The atmosphere

Committed, not intimidating.

Experienced lifters can get on with serious training. Newer members can learn the room, ask questions and build confidence. Both belong on the same floor.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

01Can I train at both gyms?

Current public Madhouse posts advertise access to both Carlton and Rotherham with the £27 monthly membership. Confirm the selected product details in the R12 joining flow before purchase.

02Are the gyms open 24 hours?

Active member access is currently advertised as 24-hour. Staffed or manned hours are separate, and a first visit or access setup may need to happen while the team is present.

03Do I need to be an experienced lifter?

No. Madhouse presents both gyms as open to all levels. The training floors are strength-focused, but the environment is intended for beginners as well as experienced lifters.

04How do I join?

Choose Join now and complete membership setup securely in R12, Madhouse’s member platform. The marketing website never takes card details.

05Can I book personal training online?

Not directly on this site. Speak to the team in the gym or contact Madhouse to discuss availability. PT sessions are managed by gym staff or coaches.
